Considerate Contractor Scheme

The overarching aim of the Considerate Contractor Scheme is to minimise any disruption to children, staff and the general public during the construction phases of the Proposed Development at Fortescue House.

In order to achieve this aim, the following measures have been introduced:

Phased Build Stages

The entire development has been split into several smaller build stages. Each build stage would be completed before the next stage begins.

Proposed Development

Notification

The details of each Build Stage, including a construction schedule and any temporary changes in access to the site, would be available on this website, Fortescue House Twitter and also available as hardcopies from the school reception or upon request.

Regular meetings will be advertised and held with the local residents, retailers and business groups throughout the course of each of the development build stages.

Hours of Construction

No demolition or construction work shall take place on the site except between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm on Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday.

Security & Access

The property will be secured and access to the areas associated with each build stage strictly controlled and monitored through CCTV. The main access to the site would be from the driveway leading from Park Road, Hanworth.

Resources & Materials

Fortescue House are committed to using sustainable materials and employing local tradesman. This would stimulate the local economy and reduce the need for travel.
